For 2007 we have completely re-equipped the studios with high capacity 6k generators, heads and 6k ringflash!

If you're familiar with our previous setup, or never used studio flash before, you'll find these incredibly simple to use.

highest quality aluminium cased generators from Alfa, a British manufacturer who have produced high powered professional studio equipment since 1969. Until now we've maintained a mix of Bowens and Alfa studio kit but have now chosen to switch to 100% Alfa.

At last!
6k ringflash with modelling light. 15" overall and the tapered hole for the camera lens is 6 1/4" on the front and 10" at the back. This gives ample clearance for any camera and lens.

important change we have made is to make all our new equipment compatible with conventional photography and digital. The new synch system is now 5volts at very low current which is the requirement for digital cameras and backs, and also works for mechanical or electronic cameras.

familiar with our previous setup, the asymmetric system is the same as the older Alfas except on these new models there are three sections 1k 2k 3k which can be combined to give 6k from one head, or separate for different powers. The minimum power from the 1k section goes right down to 1/100th power - 60 joules, a very tiny flash indeed!
